February Pack Meeting: A Scout is Friendly

Opening Ceremony
Flag Ceremony: Start the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Scout Oath.
Welcome and Introductions: A brief welcome message highlighting the theme and any new scouts joining.
Theme Discussion: A Scout is Friendly
Activities: Discuss the importance of friendliness in scouting. Share stories of how scouts can demonstrate friendliness in their community and school.
Friendship Circle: Form a circle and encourage each scout to share a positive story about a friendship they value.
Games
Friendship Bingo: Create a bingo card with traits of a good friend. Scouts can mingle and find peers who match each description.
Compliment Relay: Scouts will form teams to pass a ball around. When a scout catches the ball, they have to give a compliment to another team member.
Craft Activity
Friendship Bracelets: Scouts will make simple bracelets using colored string or beads. They can exchange them at the end of the meeting as a symbol of friendship.
Communication Skills
Role-playing Scenarios: Scouts will practice friendly greetings and conversations. Divide them into pairs and give them scenarios to act out, focusing on being polite and inclusive.
Closing Ceremony
Awards and Recognitions: Recognize scouts for their achievements related to friendship and teamwork.
Scout Promise: Conclude with the Scout Law by emphasizing the value of being friendly.
Refreshments
Provide light snacks and drinks. Encourage scouts to sit together and socialize, reinforcing the theme of friendship.
