Opening Ceremony

  • Flag Ceremony: Start with the Pledge of Allegiance and Scout Oath.

  • Opening Remarks: Briefly introduce the theme, "A Scout is Helpful," and its significance.

Activity Stations

  1. Community Service Project Planning

    • Scouts brainstorm ideas for a service project that benefits the local community.

    • Encourage discussions on how they can help others effectively.

  2. Helping Hands Relay

    • Divide Scouts into teams for a fun relay race that involves completing tasks that represent helping others, such as carrying books or assembling care packages.

  3. Presentation on Service

    • A guest speaker or a leader shares experiences about how helping others can have a positive impact on the community.

Group Activity

  • Crafting: Scouts create handmade cards or care packages for local shelters or hospitals, emphasizing the importance of kindness and support.

Closing Ceremony

  • Recap of the Day: Discuss what was learned about being helpful and how it can be practiced in daily life.
