March Pack Meeting: A Scout is Trustworthy

Meeting Agenda
Opening Ceremony
Gather the scouts and families for the flag ceremony.
Brief introduction of the theme: "A Scout is Trustworthy." Discuss what trustworthiness means and why it is important in scouting and daily life.
Activity: Trust Walk
Pair scouts together. One scout will be blindfolded while the other guides them through a simple obstacle course using only verbal directions.
After both scouts have had a turn, gather to discuss the importance of trust in communication and teamwork.
Craft: Trust Jars
Each scout will create a "Trust Jar" using small jars and craft supplies.
Scouts will write down commitments or promises on slips of paper to reinforce the meaning of being trustworthy.
Group Discussion
Open the floor for scouts to share examples of trust in their lives—whether through friendships, family, or scouting.
Highlight stories of historical figures or community members who exemplify trustworthiness.
Closing Ceremony
Reconvene for the closing remarks.
Reinforce the importance of trust in scouting and everyday actions.
End with a scout oath and outdoor pledge.
