Come join us for our September Den Meetings. This meeting will start our scouts’ journey to earning their rank badges.

Our den meetings will be hosted in the main church building at 301 S. Alfred St. We will meet on the 3rd floor in room 311/312.

September Den Meetings

As we kick off the new scouting year, our September den meetings will focus on introductions and setting the stage for a successful journey toward earning rank badges. Parents will also get a chance to learn about our popcorn program.

Meeting Objectives

  • Familiarize with your Den Leader and fellow den mates.

  • Understand the requirements for rank badges specific to your level.

  • Outline the activities planned for the upcoming months that will help achieve these goals.

Agenda ***

  1. Introductions
    Each scout will introduce themselves, share their favorite scouting experience, and what they hope to achieve this year.

  2. Den Leader Overview
    The Den Leader will explain their role, the importance of teamwork, and how they will support each scout in their journey.

  3. Rank Badge Requirements
    A brief rundown of the requirements for each rank. Scouts will learn what skills and knowledge they will be developing and how each activity ties into these goals.

  4. Activity Planning
    Discussion of planned activities and outings that align with badge requirements. Scouts will have the opportunity to suggest additional activities they are interested in.

  5. Setting Goals
    Each scout will set personal goals for the year, along with a plan to achieve their rank badge.

  6. Questions & Suggestions
    An open floor for any questions about the den activities or rank requirements, and a chance for scouts to share their ideas.
