Solar Eclipse Viewing

Solar Eclipse Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts in Pack 133, mark your calendars! On April 8th, 2024, a rare celestial event will be taking place - a solar eclipse. During a solar eclipse, the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow on the Earth.

While looking directly at the sun during a solar eclipse can be harmful to your eyes, there are safe ways to view this incredible phenomenon. One way is by using special solar viewing glasses provided by the pack.

Pack 133 will be organizing a solar eclipse viewing event where you can safely observe this awe-inspiring event with your fellow Cub Scouts. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting opportunity to witness a solar eclipse and learn more about the wonders of our universe!

Please register via the form below if you are interested in meeting with other scouts to view the solar eclipse.
